NEW YORK, NY – May, 16, 2016– Olshan Properties, one of the country’s leading private owners, developers and managers of commercial real estate, today announced that hospitality industry veteran Glenn Spanier has been named General Manager of the 278-suite Sheraton Suites Galleria, Atlanta.
With over 32 years of experience in the hotel business, Glenn has served as General Manager of numerous hotels, including Fort Lauderdale’s Hyatt Regency Pier 66, Bahia Mar Beach Resort and Holiday Inn-Fort Lauderdale. Earlier he was employed as General Manager at the Holiday Inn Beachside in Key West and in several executive positions for Potomac Hotel Group, including General Manager at that company’s renowned Georgetown Inn. Over the past two years, Glenn served as General Manager of the 279-key DoubleTree Palm Beach Gardens, where he successfully more than tripled Hilton Honors satisfaction rates.

A native of Philadelphia, Glenn received his bachelors of science from Penn State’s School of Hospitality Management and is a Certified Hospitality Administrator (CHA). Over the course of his career, he has earned the honor of “General Manager of the Year” by both Potomac Hotel Group in WDC and Interstate Hotels. Glenn is also recognized for his philanthropic activity and is a dedicated fund raiser, advocate for and volunteer with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Joining in as one of Olshan Properties’ newest team members, Glenn looks forward to supporting the company’s annual employee-driven program of service-based giving, Olshan Outreach, which this year will be focusing its activities to aid the ‘Fight Against Cancer’.
