[MIAMI — June 15, 2016] — If you thought the hotel industry wasn’t ready for a single platform on which to run all PMS, CRS, Call Center, Events, Loyalty, Connectivity to OTA’s and GDSs, Business Intelligence, CRM and other core property solutions, think again. Together with SAP, Indra has been busily transforming hospitality and the guest experience by delivering an enterprise platform to support the global technology needs of hotel companies – from property and back office to corporate solutions.
- In the past 24 months, more than 500 hotels selected Indra for its PMS
- In the past 18 months, Indra went LIVE in NYC as the 60th hotel now in the Americas
- In the past 12 months alone, Indra’s global penetration grew from 10 to 32 countries

- By the end of 2016, Indra will establish its presence in China with two hotels going LIVE
“Indra’s swift global expansion is really exciting,” said Connie Rheams, Indra Senior Vice President. “It seems like just yesterday we were introducing Indra to the global marketplace, and since then our solutions have taken off; the industry has especially welcomed a new, proven property-management system. By pooling our technologies and industry expertise with SAP, we now have the most comprehensive global, integrated, above-property solutions for the hospitality industry.
“Our integrated system enables hoteliers to deliver a unique guest experience,” Rheams said. “Every hotelier has the desire and the need to serve each guest individually. To do so requires a single view of all guest transactions available at every touch point. Sitting on top of SAP HANA, this in-memory database is making real-time possible across the organization from guests interactions to analytics. We are empowering a whole new level of guest experience that will clearly differentiate one brand from another.
“In addition, the industry is really enthusiastic over Indra’s new global option for PMS,” she said. “There haven’t been a lot of options for hotel brands with a global portfolio of properties or full service needs, and Indra is offering a solid alternative. Plus, our proven speed to implement has changed the landscape. Rather than taking years to implement a new PMS across a global enterprise, we are doing it in weeks – to be exact, we implemented 15 properties a week for NH Hotels. Indra and SAP are making this speed the new reality.”

“Guest also want to also control their experience,” she added. “Indra is now making it possible for guests to check-in online to an exact room number. We actually have customer using the ‘pick your own room’ tool as an incentive for customers to book direct and grow their loyalty membership.”
