CLEVELAND, OHIO – September 2, 2016 — Acclaimed hospitality executive Yael Ron has been named General Manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland and has joined the luxury hotel from Israel’s celebrated Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya.
Ron brings an illustrious 20-year hospitality career to the Forbes Four Star, AAA Four Diamond Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland. Among her first projects, she will lead the spectacular transformation currently underway at the downtown hotel — and which will be unveiled in stunning phases over the next several months.

Yael Ron began her hospitality career as a senior sales manager with Hilton Hotels, for whom she served as a leader for ten years. She then transitioned to the ad agency and corporate sectors, becoming an active partner in launching a major American hotel brand in Israel and filling strategic sales, marketing and leadership positions with retail, environmental and advertising brands. In 2010, she returned to the lodging industry, leading sales and marketing for a major hotel in Tel Aviv — and then joining The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya for its high-profile 2013 opening and record-setting years since then. Under Ron’s leadership, The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya quickly became the market leader in Israel, garnering numerous international awards and consistent #1 user rankings.
Ron holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel Management from Technion Israel & Nova University, Florida, and an MBA from City University of New York, Baruch College. She is fluent in several languages, having lived, studied and worked throughout the world, to include the United States, Central America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
