New York, NY (September 22, 2016) – Renowned hotel brand and management company Dream Hotel Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Rohani as Vice President of Development. Rohani brings over a decade of experience in portfolio expansion and expertise in hotels, restaurants and nightlife to Dream Hotel Group. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the development of new projects and sourcing new deals globally.

Rohani comes to Dream Hotel Group from Gensler, an internationally renowned integrated architecture, design, planning and consulting firm, where he spent the past three years nurturing his design acumen. As Dream Hotel Group continues to be at the forefront of hotel design, their decision to hire from one of the world’s most reputable firms was strategic. Working in the Gensler hospitality studio, specializing in project management and business development, Rohani was involved in a multitude of hospitality projects including citizenM Hotels, Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, The Century Plaza in Century City, The Parisian Macao and The Hub on Causeway, a dynamic mixed-use development on the site of the original Boston Garden.
Rohani began his hospitality career with sbe Hotel Group, where he focused on hotel operations and development. It was there that he gained invaluable experience working with existing properties such as The Redbury Hotel in Hollywood, SLS Hotel Beverly Hills and Four Points by Sheraton LAX. Rohani was integral to the closing of the 1600-key Sahara Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, as well as the opening of both SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino and SLS Hotel South Beach.
Originally from Newport Beach, Rohani graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a double major in Business Administration and Hospitality Management. He is also an active member of the American Institute of Architects.
