NEW YORK, NY – November 1, 2016 — Olshan Properties, one of the country’s leading private owners, developers and operators of commercial real estate, today announced the appointment of John G. Randall to Head of Hospitality.
A 36-year veteran of the hotel industry, Mr. Randall joins the executive team at Olshan Properties reporting directly to CEO Andrea Olshan. Based in the firm’s Columbus, OH offices, Mr. Randall will have comprehensive responsibility for portfolio operations and asset management related to the firm’s six hotel properties.

Olshan Properties’ hotel portfolio, featuring Marriott, Starwood and Hilton flags, currently includes the Courtyard BY MARRIOTT Columbus at Easton, the Residence Inn Columbus at Easton, and the Hilton Columbus at Easton, located in Columbus, OH; the Hilton Orrington, Evanston located outside of Chicago, IL, the Sheraton Suites Galleria in Atlanta, GA and the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa located in Marco Island, FL. Mr. Randall will lead and serve as first point of contact for hotel general managers on operational, accounting and human resources matters as well as manage relationships with third party vendors to and financial intermediaries associated with Olshan Properties’ hotel portfolio.
Mr. Randall comes to Olshan Properties from White Lodging where he served as Vice President of Operations, Full Service Division. During his eight years with White Lodging Mr. Randall directed leadership teams of hotels and restaurants and management teams of approximately 240 members across Virginia, Erie, Chicago, Milwaukee, Austin, Indianapolis, Louisville and Nashville. Prior to joining White Lodging, Mr. Randall was a multiple award winner with Marriott International for 28 years fulfilling a range of leadership functions including hotel general manager and director of food and beverage service. Mr. Randall graduated as valedictorian from Lynn University where he received an Associate of Business in Hospitality Management. Mr. Randall also attended Penn State University where he currently serves on the Hotel Board of Advisors.
