NATICK, MA (November 14, 2016) – Distinctive Hospitality Group (DHG), in conjunction with The VERVE – Crowne Plaza Boston-Natick, is pleased to announce the appointment of industry veteran Lynne Luongo as the hotel’s General Manager. With over two decades of professional hospitality experience, Luongo brings with her an unmatched ability to develop strategic growth opportunities within the hospitality industry.
Luongo began her career working within the food and beverage management department at The Tinton Falls Hilton, in Tinton Falls New Jersey. Talented and driven, she quickly made her way up the hospitality ladder by assuming the role of Director of Purchasing at the Somerset Hilton in Somerset, New Jersey. In 1990, she joined the team at the distinguished Dolce Hotels & Resorts, a recognized industry innovator in the upscale meetings sect of hospitality, which led to an impressive 20-year career. While working for Dolce Hotels & Resorts, Luongo wore many hats, holding leadership roles within the front office, housekeeping, engineering, purchasing, and food & beverage divisions. In 1998, Luongo became the Corporate Director in the Purchasing and Technical Services department, where her duties included overseeing project management, marketing, and operating budgets.
Knowing the property-based management side of the industry was where she wanted to be, Luongo accepted the position of Assistant General Manager at Dolce Hotels & Resorts’ most impressive property, the IBM Executive Conference Center in Palisades, New York, which services high-profile corporate clients. In 2011, after many successful years with Dolce Hotels & Resorts, Luongo moved to Massachusetts, where assumed the role of General Manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton in Bedford, a position she held for five years.
Luongo’s longstanding career in the hotel industry has given her a strong understanding of hotel operations, which, paired with her keen ability to collaborate with sales and marketing professionals in driving corporate business, will undoubtedly prove beneficial to her new role as General Manager of The VERVE-Crowne Plaza Natick.

In her new positon, Luongo will oversee all aspects of hospitality services and will work directly with the sales and marketing team to foster new business opportunities. Luongo currently resides in Natick with her husband Angelo. During her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time by the ocean, and cheering on her favorite professional football teams.
