[Tucson, Ariz., and Phoenix—Dec 13, 2016]— Today e-destinACCESS Inc. and IBC have joined forces to improve the service offering available to independent hotels looking to attract more leisure and group business. This technology partnership will equip leisure guests with the tools needed for pre-booking experiences at IBC member hotels, while groups can now source and plan all of their meeting and event needs – from rooms and transportation to table linens & centerpieces and entertainment/tours – directly via the IBC Marketplace. Leveraging e-destinACCESS RFP management tool, IBC members can also streamline the Request For Proposal (RFP) process. In addition, the e-destinACCESS platform will enable meeting planners to assist individuals within a group who are responsible for their own bookings and payments to easily process transactions.
“This is a first-of-its-kind services offering for independent hotels,” said Pamela Barnhill, IBC chief operating officer. “By bringing the RFP process front and center to independent hoteliers and their sales team, we are driving more groups and meetings business to this lucrative market. Hoteliers no longer have to remember to login and find applicable RFPs. Rather, the RFPs will provide instant notification of the request and then they will waiting for them via the IBC Marketplace.
“We are thrilled to be in partnership with e-destinACCESS,” she said. “Giving independent hoteliers access to their nextgenmtgs platform on the IBC Marketplace will enable them to more effectively compete for leisure and group business.”
Anita M. Beaubien, e-destinaccess president, concurred.
“This partnership with IBC will equip their independent hotel network with tools needed to grow and manage their group business,” Beaubien said. “Together we will increase revenue streams while giving travelers the opportunity to pre-book local experiences. We are proud to work together to provide the independents with technology support.”
