NEW YORK, NY (January 30, 2017) – Renowned hotel brand and management company Dream Hotel Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Karan Narang as Senior Director, Acquisition & Development Analysis. With nearly ten years of experience in leading hospitality acquisitions, dispositions, development and asset management, Narang will play an integral role in the continued growth strategy and expansion of Dream Hotel Group.
Narang joins Dream Hotel Group from Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) where he served as Director of Acquisitions and Financial Analysis for nearly six years. At HVMG, Narang served a key role in supporting the groups’ aggressive growth strategy that included both acquisitions and third-party management contracts. Narang was responsible for developing comprehensive financial models to evaluate business opportunities that includes due diligence research, creating investor briefings and market analysis.

Prior to joining HVMG, Narang served as a Director for Atlanta-based Lodgian, Inc., where he oversaw financial management and analysis functions for Lodgian’s portfolio as well as its development and investor relation teams. Narang also served as Director Real Estate, Strategy & Hospitality Advisory for New York-based FTI Schonbraun McCann Group, where he gained invaluable experience in hospitality consulting.
Narang holds a Master of Management degree in Hospitality from Cornell University, specializing in Real Estate Finance & Investments. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Restaurant & Institutional Management from the University of Delaware and received the academic accolade of a Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management from the Swiss School of Tourism & Hospitality in Switzerland.
