SHANGHAI, May 17, 2017 — Artyzen Hospitality Group, an Asian-based international hotel management company, announced General Manager appointments for three of their new and innovative life style brands in Asia. The appointments include Bernard Lo as General Manager of Artyzen Sifang Nanjing; Lisa Li as General Manager of Artyzen Habitat and citizenM hotels in Hongqiao, Shanghai; Will Zhang as Hotel Manager of Artyzen Habitat Dongzhimen Beijing; and David Su as Hotel Manager of citizenM Taipei North Gate.

Mr. Bernard Lo, General Manager of Artyzen Sifang Nanjing
Bernard Lo, who has more than 30 years of hospitality experience, has worked in numerous properties in the hospitality sector, including roles in Rooms, Food & Beverage, Corporate Office and hotel General Manager. Originally from Macau, Bernard lived and worked in many different countries, such as Switzerland, Germany, Portugal, Belgium and mainland China. He has been with InterContinental Hotels Group as General Manager since 2001. Prior to joining Artyzen Hospitality Group, Bernard was the General Manager of Langham Place Beijing Capital Airport. He will lead the team to open Artyzen Sifang Nanjing at the Sifang Collective site, known as an architectural wonderland featuring immense collaborative work between more than twenty world renowned architects who, over the course of ten years, designed a variety of functional spaces, as well as permanent and temporary art exhibition venues. The hotel is scheduled to open in 4th quarter 2017.
Ms. Lisa Li, General Manager of Artyzen Habitat Hongqiao Shanghai and citizenM Hongqiao Shanghai
Lisa Li has 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She held various senior positions in Chongqing, including the JW Marriott. Before joining Artyzen Hospitality Group, Lisa was the General Manager of Chongqing Yuelai International Conference Centre and Wyndham Chongqing Yuelai, where she was responsible for strategic planning, brand development and operations management of both properties since their pre-opening phase. Lisa will oversee the operation of two hotels in Shanghai Hongqiao area, a citizenM Shanghai Hongqiao and an Artyzen Habitat Hongqiao Shanghai, located in the MixC entertainment and commercial complex, featuring Grade A offices, world class retail and entertainment options, near the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center in the heart of Shanghai's Hongqiao financial district, and atop Ziteng Road station of Metro line 10, both opening in the 2nd quarter of 2018.
Mr. Will Zhang, Hotel Manager of Artyzen Habitat Dongzhimen Beijing
Will Zhang, will be responsible for the successful opening and management of Artyzen Habitat Dongzhimen Beijing, a 138 room boutique hotel. Will has held various positions in the Rooms Division during his tenure with Mandarin Oriental, which included Housekeeping Assistant Manager, Front Office Manager and Director of Housekeeping Operations in the U.S.A.. Prior to joining us, Will was the Director of Rooms at Langham Place Beijing Capital Airport, where he was responsible for overseeing the Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and Security functions of the hotel. The Artyzen Habitat Dongzhimen Beijing is close to the Airport Express stations Sanyuanqiao and Dongzhimen, and located on the second Ring Road opposite Beijing MOMA, one of Beijing's famous commercial and cultural complexes. Featuring just a 30-minute drive from the Airport, the hotel will open in July 2017.
Mr. David Su, Hotel Manager of citizenM Taipei North Gate
David Su, who is from Taiwan, has been appointed as hotel Manager for citizenM Taipei North Gate, the first citizenM hotel in Asia, which is scheduled to open in July 2017. He brings with him extensive experience in the hospitality industry in both the US and Taiwan. Having worked in Hyatt and the Landis Group, David possesses both international perspective and a good understanding of the local Taiwan market. Prior to joining Artyzen Hospitality Group, David managed the Landis Taipei Hotel. The 267-room citizenM Taipei North Gate is centrally located in the CBD adjacent to Airport Express and Taipei Main Station, and only a 5-minute walk from popular Ximending Night Market and a 20-minute walk from Ningxia Night Market.
