The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the most dynamic hotel groups in the world, is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark Willis as the new Area Senior Vice President for the Middle East, Turkey & Africa, effective immediately.
In his new role, Willis assumes responsibilities for the African continent, in addition to the Middle East & Turkey.
British national Willis, has over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, including more than 15 years with Carlson Rezidor. Willis will continue to be based in the group’s Dubai Area Office, given its status as one of the world’s most important travel hubs and with strong air connections to the African continent. Willis has previously held the role of Area Vice President Middle East & Sub-Saharan Africa from 2012 to 2015.
