ATLANTA, GA (June 28, 2017) – Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (HE) recently named Jimmy Grover as Regional Director of Operations for the firm. Based in Atlanta, Mr. Grover reports to Dominic Buompastore, Vice President of Operations/Full Service & Resorts. He has oversight of all above property operations for a group of hotels managed by Hotel Equities.
With more than 20 years of hospitality industry experience, Mr. Grover began his hospitality career as a technician at the Courtyard by Marriott in Norcross, Georgia. Moving up quickly, he soon earned the post of General Manager for the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia.
He came to Hotel Equities as General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott McDonough and also served as a Lead General Manager for a group of hotels. In 2015, he earned the firm’s Chairman’s Award for the outstanding overall leadership and the performance of his hotel.

Mr. Grover earned a degree in Business Administration from Western Illinois University after growing up in Chicago. A resident of Lithonia, Georgia, he and his wife are the parents of three children. He enjoys fishing and playing golf in his free time.
