Dublin, Ohio – September 2017 – The executive team at AC Hotel Columbus Dublin, located in the heart of the upscale, new Bridge Park neighborhood just 20 minutes from downtown Columbus, is pleased to announce the appointment of William Fugitt as Executive Chef.
In this new role, Chef Fugitt will oversee the daily operations of the AC Kitchen and rooftop restaurant and bar, VASO, as well as lead and manage the culinary team to coordinate catering for special events. Bringing nearly 20 years of experience and an extensive background in hospitality and dining, Chef Fugitt was previously the Sous Chef at The Renaissance Hotel by Marriott in Columbus, Ohio. Beginning his culinary career as the Chef de Partie at Jean-Louis at The Watergate Hotel in Washington D.C., he discovered his true love for cooking and ventured to France for a culinary mentorship. After a year spent sharpening his skills, Fugitt returned to the U.S., where he worked in various positions in Chicago, Florida and as a private chef in New York, before finding his niche in Columbus, Ohio.
