Washington, TX (December 2017) – Inn at Dos Brisas, a nine-room Relais & Châteaux property in the foothills of the Texas Hill Country, welcomes back Executive Chef Zachary Ladwig to lead the culinary charge at Texas’ only Forbes Five-Star restaurant. Chef Ladwig previously served as the inn’s Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef from 2011-2013, and returns to the property where he will be deeply entrenched in its organic farmland and orchards.
Already engrained in the Inn at Dos Brisas’ culinary capabilities from his previous time on property, Chef Ladwig will be responsible for the food and beverage operations at the signature restaurant, in addition to in-room dining and catering. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Chef Ladwig has extensive background in fine dining, having served as Chef De Cuisine at the Broadmoor Penrose Room in Colorado in addition to roles at Gordon Ramsay’s London restaurant, New York City’s acclaimed Bouley and the former Corton in New York.
“We take great pride in our outstanding gastronomy program and we’re excited to welcome Zachary’s talent back to our incredible team,” said owner Doug Bosch. “Zachary was a huge asset in helping to grow our signature Relais & Châteaux restaurant to where it stands today, and we look forward to this new chapter alongside him.”
Recognized with the Relais & Châteaux distinction of fine dining, the award-winning restaurant at Inn at Dos Brisas offers a daily-changing menu that combines a vegetable-centric focus with Texas flair, straight from the property’s forty-two acre USDA-certified organic farm.
