BOSTON – March 20, 2018 – Today, Turnberry Associates announces that the Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown/North Station opened its doors in bustling downtown Boston on March 16, 2018. Situated just steps away from North Station and featuring a modern, sleek design, the new 220-room hotel will provide elevated accommodations and comforts to its valued guests. The new property is owned and operated by Turnberry Associates, a premier development and hospitality group known for its high-end luxury properties such as the Fontainebleau in Miami and the JW Marriott in Nashville.
Located at 107 Beverly Street and steps away from Boston’s lively North Station and TD Garden, the hotel boasts convenient access to the city’s favorite attractions. Only a short walk from Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall and North End neighborhoods and a stone’s throw away from the famed TD Garden, home to Boston’s finest sporting events and concerts, the new property will cater to guests who are visiting Boston for both business and pleasure.
“We are delighted to be opening our doors in Boston and are eager to become part of a neighborhood that is so rich with history,” said Natasha Casillo, general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown/North Station. “This will be the first Turnberry Associates property in the Northeast and we are excited to provide travelers to Boston with award-winning hospitality paired with an urban chic Courtyard Marriott experience.”
The design of the hotel lobby features a refined style, welcoming guests with custom light fixtures, contemporary furniture, and modern accents. With tasteful pops of color carefully placed throughout, the lobby is a welcoming place to relax and unwind on comfortable seating and plush ottomans, and provides a space to foster social connections and collaborations.
The lobby is home to the hotel’s Bistro, which offers guests a wide variety of “made to order” breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, and as well as a “grab and go” section of prepared food for guests to enjoy at their leisure. Differentiating the hotel from the rest of the Marriott Courtyard brand, this Boston property houses a cozy 13 seat lobby bar. Crafted with custom tile and chic blackened metal, the bar will serve specialty cocktails, beer, and wine.
All 220 of the oversized guest rooms provide visitors with all of the comforts of home, including a well-designed work desk with an ergonomic chair, as well as a 49-inch HDTV, a Keurig coffee maker, a mini-refrigerator, safe and complimentary Wi-Fi. Thoughtfully planned, each room hosts a luxurious bedding package with plush mattresses, crisp linens, and fluffy pillows. Guests will be treated to a special entertainment package which includes over 40 HD channels, interactive guide, and streaming of Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Pandora and Crackle. Guestroom bathrooms include luxury design details such as a deluxe tile shower, marble flooring, custom made light fixtures, and a distinct vanity mirror, providing visitors with an upgraded experience. Located on the top floor is the hotel’s king suite, which provides a spacious floorplan and treats guests to a sweeping view of the Zakim Bridge.
Crafted with convenience in mind, the hotel includes ample electrical outlets throughout the property and fast and reliable Wi-Fi, along with a business library consisting of several computer terminals with printer access. The property also houses two function rooms with over 2,500 square feet of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 130 people.
The 14-story hotel features a 24-hour fitness center, guest laundry services and the Market, a 24/7 shop for snacks, beverages, and sundries.
