SAVANNAH, Ga. (May 31, 2018) – Andaz Savannah announces the appointment of Sarah Menard as Director of Sales, Marketing & Events. In her new role, Menard leads a talented team in all sales and marketing efforts for the property located in the hip Historic District of downtown Savannah, Georgia, which just saw an extensive transformation of its 151 guestrooms and suites. Menard’s focus will include fashioning innovative strategies to increase occupancy from leisure, business and group clientele; expanding awareness of the hotel’s recent guest room renovation; and elevating awareness of the Andaz brand within the city, across the Southeast Region and beyond.

Menard has spent her entire career in Savannah and with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. She arrived at Andaz Savannah from Hyatt Regency Savannah, where over a 19-year run she advanced through sales-related positions including Convention Services Manager, Group Sales Manager, and Business Sales Manager, before becoming E-Commerce, Marketing and Business Travel Sales Manager.
In the last role, which she held for five years, Menard’s responsibilities included creating and implementing annual marketing plans and budgets for various sales categories; creating and managing social media, website, and online travel agency content and imagery; and more. She also assisted in the launch of the hotel’s guest room renovation in 2015 and lobby transformation in 2017.
Born in Bluefield, WV and raised in Brunswick, GA Menard received a Bachelor of Science in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. She currently resides in Richmond Hill, Georgia with her husband Jeff and daughters, Emilee (16) and Claire (10).
