RICHMOND, VIRGINIA – Omni Richmond Hotel announced the completion of a $10-million guest room renovation. The hotel renovated décor and amenities in each of its 359 guest rooms, including hallway corridors and five luxurious suites.
“With this multimillion-dollar project complete, Omni Richmond Hotel is truly the destination of choice for convention, business and leisure travelers alike,” said Jay Sheldon, general manager of Omni Richmond Hotel. “Our customers have always recognized us for our Southern hospitality and unrivaled location, but now we have an in-room and suite experience that compliments the renaissance of our spectacular river city.”
The hotel’s design bridges its rich history to its present, with details inspired by tobacco, hemp and flax iron. Corridors and guest rooms embrace the vivid blue water of the James River while the signature in-room artwork reflects the city’s 300-year legacy. Renovated guest rooms now include 49″ flat screen TVs, Keurig coffeemakers, desks, club chairs and ottomans. Bathroom upgrades include new vanities and backlit mirrors, rain shower heads and makeup mirrors.
Overlooking the scenic James River in downtown Richmond, the hotel is situated at the center of Richmond's financial, judicial and legislative district–blocks from the Virginia State Capitol and the nation’s premier financial institutions and federal courts. In addition to newly renovated guest rooms, Omni Richmond Hotel offers a signature Italian dining experience at Trevi’s, an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor sundeck, and 15,000 square feet of meeting space.
