IRVING, TEXAS (Sept. 13, 2018) – Valencia Group’s Texican Court, is pleased to announce the newest additions to its team, Patrick Hildebrandt as executive chef and Brianna Sepulveda as director of sales and marketing of the retro-inspired hotel located in Irving, Texas, which is slated to open fall 2018.
“We are thrilled to welcome Chef Patrick Hildebrandt and Brianna Sepulveda to our team at Texican Court,” said General Manager John Thomas. “Both bring immeasurable talent and experience and we look forward to their expert contributions as we continue to bring the Texican Court vision to life.”
Hildebrandt comes to Texican Court with over a decade of first-class experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries and will be overseeing the hotel’s food and beverage operations, including the tequila bar, Two Mules Cantina restaurant, the pool area as well as catering and room service operations.
He will create a menu that will feature original, inspired dishes with native Texan flavors that highlight a smoky element such as grilled pork chops, smoked polenta, charred shrimp and blistered tomatoes.
Hildebrandt was first introduced to the comradery and passion that the kitchen atmosphere invokes in high school when he was a dish washer. Since then, he has worked his way up in kitchen positions that included chef de tournant, chef de cuisine and executive sous chef. He brings premier cooking experience to his new position, having worked as executive chef and sous chef at several establishments previously including Sweet Basil in Vail, Colorado, the Empty Stomach Group in San Antonio, Texas and The Hollow in Georgetown, Texas.
Brianna Sepulveda joins Texican Court with more than 10 years of hospitality experience and extensive knowledge of the North Texas market. She will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the sales and marketing department, with a focus on maximizing hotel revenues, developing business strategies, establishing key business partnerships and elevating brand awareness in the region.
She began her career in the hospitality industry in 2005, serving in several sales positions with prominent hotel groups including Hilton Garden Inn in Dallas, Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Park Central Area, and Holiday Inn Select in Richardson, Texas and Wyndham El Paso Airport in El Paso, Texas.
Most recently, she spent almost four years as senior sales manager for NYLO Las Colinas, where she was directly involved in managing sales, catering operations, training of sales team members and implementing sales practices within the department. She is currently working to obtain her Certified Meeting Planner License and is a member of Hotel Association of North Texas, Irving Chamber and Visitors Bureau and Meeting Professionals of America.
