The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, September 2018… BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has named Judy Spooner director of finance for High Hampton Resort. The property, located in Cashiers, North Carolina, is a Benchmark Resorts & Hotels® property. Tom Garcia, Benchmark’s vice president and general manager at the resort, made the announcement.
“I am so pleased to welcome Judy to High Hampton Resort,” said Mr. Garcia. “She brings an important financial background in residential real estate and resort management to her new role with us. We welcome her to our leadership team.”
Judy Spooner was previously director of finance for The Landings Association, overseeing a private residential community located in Savannah, Georgia. Prior to this she worked in finance at an Architecture/Design firm and earlier she served as Controller for several American Golf properties on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
Ms. Spooner is a graduate of Pace University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She resides in Lake Toxaway, North Carolina, with her rescue dogs and cats.
