The Marathon golf and tennis club's 49 certificated members unanimously approved a plan on Aug. 22 to sell the property to a group headed by Marathon Finance Director Peter Rosasco and Keys developer Marvin Rappaport. Sept. 04--Longtime Southern Nevada gaming executive Rob Kunkle has been named general manager of the Riviera. Kunkle was most recently vice president and general manager of Station Casinos' Texas Station property. He held several positions with Station, including general manager of the company's Wildfire Gaming division and vice president and general manager of Fiesta Rancho. Prior to joining Station, Kunkle was the director of food and beverage for Caesars Entertainment's Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Ind., and served as general manager of the Silverton in Las Vegas.
