After a five-year renovation, the revitalized Adelphi Hotel will honor the distinct style and simple elegance of Saratoga Springs, while delivering a vivid, modern reimagining of classic Victorian luxury.

The Adelphi Hotel, originally opened in 1877 and the last surviving hotel of Saratoga’s Golden Age, has served as a cultural icon in Saratoga Springs, an upstate New York city known for its historic charm, Victorian architecture, arts community, and many attractions including naturally carbonated mineral spas, world-class horse racing, polo and more. Adelphi Hospitality Group collaborated with multiple designers and architects to reimagine the interiors focusing on a sophisticated modern Victorian design that personifies with a modern twist, and eclectic revival of, timeless ideals.

“This is more than just a place to stay, it’s a gathering spot for all people who live in, or are visiting, Saratoga Springs,” said Simon Milde, Managing Partner of Adelphi Hospitality Group. “The Adelphi Hotel dates back to Saratoga Springs’ Victorian age when the town was known as America’s playground for the rich and famous, and we are grateful to be part of such a culturally vibrant community.”

The Adelphi Hotel’s focus on luxury and modern design while carrying on the spirit of a historic and charming retreat will make The Adelphi one of the most iconic places to stay, and play, in all of New York. Located on the main floor is the revival of The Adelphi’s legendary hotel bar and social hub Morrisey’s, named after John Morrissey, one of Saratoga’s most famous residents who was a heavyweight boxer, congressman and co-founder of Saratoga’s race track. Guests will also be able to indulge their senses at The Blue Hen, a 1,200-square-foot glass-walled conservatory housing The Adelphi’s new restaurant, offering a creative twist on classic dishes. Helmed by Executive Chef Braden Reardon, the locally-inspired eatery uses non-GMO ingredients from nearby farmers and will offer guests an artisan-market style experience with creatively delicious dining options for breakfast and dinner.

The new 2,300 square foot Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 250 guests, when combined with The Blue Hen, for private meetings, conventions or weddings. The venue opens up to the Adelphi Gardens, a local gathering spot for Saratogians and visitors to gather for a drink surrounded by the greenery of the landscaped gardens.

The 32 guest rooms have all been smartly reconfigured to offer a more spacious and luxurious experience while staying at The Adelphi. The original hotel featured approximately 74 rooms when it was built in the late 1800s. The previous owners modified the hotel to just over 40 rooms. Now, at the newly re-imagined Adelphi Hotel, guests will be able to retreat to one of 32 luxurious and oversized guest rooms and suites. All rooms at The Adelphi Hotel feature hard wood floors, custom designed furnishings, artfully selected pieces from the Adelphi’s history, radiant heated bathroom floors and more.
