SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – April. 27, 2021 – The new ADERO Scottsdale, an Autograph Collection hotel, is proud to announce the appointment of Chantelle Nikkel to director of sales and marketing for the region’s only Dark Sky Zone resort. Nikkel brings a wealth of hospitality knowledge and expertise to the 177-room luxury resort, managed by Aqua-Aston Hospitality, and is responsible for overseeing ADERO Scottsdale’s sales and marketing strategies.
In her role, Nikkel leads all sales initiatives surrounding the property’s 16,800 square feet of versatile indoor and outdoor meeting and event spaces. The event spaces provide an idyllic setting with expansive views of the desert surroundings and can be reconfigured depending on event needs, from intimate wedding celebrations to small group buyouts and business retreats. Spread out over 17 wide-open acres, ADERO Scottsdale’s natural setting and newly built event venues, outdoor, and open spaces make for unique group experiences, complete with exclusive amenities and inventive fare from CIELO, the resort’s signature farm-to-table-to-sky restaurant. Team building activities can be created to allow for a deeper connection with the environment. Nikkel oversees operations of the resort’s six distinctive meeting venues, plus a 5,000 sq.ft. lawn for private events and star gazing.
Nikkel has helmed local and regional sales and marketing teams in six major metros throughout her career. Prior to joining ADERO Scottsdale, she was the director of sales and marketing for The Camby in Phoenix where she managed the sales and marketing team, created local partnerships, and developed new marketing strategies and tactics. Nikkel’s extensive background in events, sales and marketing encompasses previous roles at Kimpton Aertson Hotel Nashville, Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix, Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, and W Hollywood Hotel and Residences.
