DALLAS, Texas (November 23, 2016) – Aimbridge Hospitality announced today that Derek Martin has joined the company as the new vice president of feasibility and planning. Martin will be leading the feasibility team responsible for evaluating new management opportunities for Aimbridge.

Derek Martin joined Aimbridge in 2016 with 15 years of hospitality experience. Prior to joining Aimbridge Hospitality, he was the senior director of business intelligence at Davidson Hotels & Resorts. In this role, Martin was responsible for strengthening the company’s productivity by updating internal and external technology systems. He also oversaw the company’s transition into the newest edition of the lodging industry’s system of accounts.
Before that, Martin also served as the senior director of investment management for Davidson Hotels & Resorts where he was instrumental in developing and implementing a new analytical system with the executive team.
Prior to Davidson Hotels & Resorts, Martin also worked for over six years at Crow Holdings where he served as a vice president of asset management, assisting in the acquisition of seven branded, full-service hotels and providing asset management services for 16 hotels in 15 markets.
