Columbia, Sc. – Adventurous Journeys (AJ) Capital Partners announced today that it has acquired The Inn at USC in Columbia, South Carolina. In spring 2019, the hotel will undergo a comprehensive renovation to become part of the Graduate Hotels® collection. The hotel will remain open during renovations and will be completed in fall 2019. The 116-room hotel is in downtown Columbia and walking distance to University of South Carolina’s campus.
Ideally located on Pendleton Street in Columbia’s historic University Hill neighborhood, the hotel is adjacent to the University of South Carolina’s main campus, including the famed Horseshoe, the National Advocacy Center and the School of Law. The South Carolina State House is four blocks from the hotel, and the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center and USC's Darla Moore School of Business are also within walking distance. The nearby Five Points neighborhood offers guests access to shopping, dining and nightlife.

The hotel will undergo a comprehensive renovation, which will touch all guestrooms, common areas, lobby and the hotel’s 3,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting and events space. Historic elements of the property will be carefully restored or preserved during the renovation.
