ALICE is proud to announce its CTO & Co-Founder, Dmitry Koltunov, has been elected to the Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG) Vendor Advisory Council. ALICE is the hospitality industry’s leading operations technology, connecting every department of the hotel with one platform for all staff communication and guest requests. More than 25,000 hoteliers across the world’s top brands trust ALICE.
Hospitality Technology Next Generation is a global not-for-profit trade association that fosters, through collaboration and partnership among hospitality professionals and technology providers, the development of next-generation solutions that will enable them to do business globally in the 21st century.
“HTNG has been instrumental in my and ALICE’s growth, so I want to give back,” says Dmitry. “There are so many opportunities for the hotel industry to use technology better, and the accelerant is when we collaborate rather than do everything in silos.”
HTNG’s Vendor Advisory Council provides advice, guidance, recommendations and technical assistance to the Board of Governors, as representatives of the vendor community. Dmitry was elected by his peers in the HTNG Industry Partner community and will join 14 other senior level executives. Dmitry’s appointment with HTNG Vendor Advisory Council will last through June 2023.
Dmitry is a startup technologist with a passion for driving innovation, leadership and creativity. Dmitry has over a decade of experience in technology leadership, distributed software architecture and enterprise development, having served leading global financial institutions and been responsible for a number of multi-million dollar initiatives.
“Dmitry has devoted so much time to learning and leading our entire industry forward,” says Alexander Shashou, ALICE’s President and Co-Founder. “He is extremely passionate about hospitality and how technology can improve the lives of those who work in it. I’m so happy to see him join the HTNG Vendor Advisory Council, an organization he has given so much to over the last few years.”
Dmitry serves as the director for the NYC chapter of SLP and as the founder of Collective Catalyst. Dmitry earned a BSE in Computer Science as well as a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a graduate of the Startup Leadership Program.
