[Birmingham, Ala. – October 26, 2017] — Amanda Belmonte will assume the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Vimana Franchise Systems effective January 2, 2018. At present, she serves as VP of Franchise Services for the company owning the Centerstone Inns/Hotels/Plaza Hotels and Key West Inns/Hotels/Resorts brands. Steven Belmonte will continue to serve as Vimana CEO, and Neal Jackson will remain President. More staffing announcements are expected in January.
“Amanda is the backbone of our operating structure, and she will continue to work with owners and general managers to ensure timely and effective support and communications going forward,” Steven Belmonte said. “Based on her stellar franchise support and administration performance, Amanda is ready to take on more responsibilities. We’re are excited about the future of this company under her leadership.”
Amanda Belmonte began her career with Vimana Franchise Systems in 2011. She was promoted to Vice President of Brand Management in 2013.
“Amanda’s promotion is well deserved,” Jackson said. “While this is good news for us in the corporate office, it’s even greater news for our franchisees who she helps so selflessly day in and day out. Vimana’s future is in capable hands, and 2018 is shaping up to be a year of new growth and development.”
Vimana’s Future is Bright Vimana’s new EVP and COO said she owes much of her success to the expert tutelage of her father-in-law, saying: “I’ve been fortunate to learn from the best during my time with Vimana under Steve Belmonte’s leadership. As a Millennial, I’m looking forward to seeing how technology will help us grow as a franchise. In 2018, the industry can expect to see Vimana taking a bigger leap into the digital world, from both an advertising perspective and in how we connect with our guests.
“I’m excited to continue to provide a great alternative to the typical franchise with Vimana’s franchise friendly brands,” Amanda Belmonte said. “Centerstone, Key West and our new independent option all provide a great value to property owners. The system offers the services and support owners expect from a franchise, but it comes without commanding unreasonable mandates that do not provide a return on investment. Vimana saves owners money through low franchise fees and great marketing support. After its expansion in 2017, Vimana Franchise Systems is now poised for new growth in the coming year.”
The first property joining the Vimana system in 2018 will be the Centerstone Plaza Hotel Fountain Hills/North Scottsdale in Arizona. For more information on that property conversion, click here. Additional announcements are planned for first quarter.
