The Kimpton Sylvan Hotel, a 1950s-era adaptive reuse boutique hotel in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood, announces the hire of Anika Glenn as its new Director of Sales and Marketing. Glenn brings 15+ years of award-winning industry experience to the Sylvan, with her most recent role serving as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina, where she implemented the hotel’s sales and marketing strategies and achieved the budgeted top line revenue for the hotel.
Glenn brings a wealth of knowledge of the hospitality industry specializing in new hotel openings, luxury-boutique and lifestyle properties. She has a proven sales track record with high profile clients and a solid history in exceeding goals in revenue growth, market share, and profit gain. Prior to her time at the Hyatt Regency, Glenn served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown, a Doubletree by Hilton, where she received brand recognition by Hilton for year-over-year positive group room night growth and additionally, was asked to speak on the strategies used to achieve success at the 2019 Americas Leadership Conference.

When not at work, Glenn can be found doing yoga, riding scooters on the beltline and spending time with her two beautiful children who are very active in organized sports to include basketball, track and field, competitive cheer and gymnastics.
