Antonio Morales Joins Santa Barbara’s Newest Garden Escape
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (Nov. 2, 2023) – The Steward, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, managed by Twenty Four Seven Hotels, is pleased to announce the appointment of Antonio Morales as general manager of the 87 all-suite, 4.7 acre property. Bringing over 10 years of hospitality expertise, Morales will provide strategic business development to position the recently opened Southern California property as a leader in the Central Coast.

Prior to joining The Steward, Morales served as opening general manager at Courtyard by Marriott Santa Barbara Downtown. Throughout his career, Morales has provided exceptional leadership in guest services, food and beverage, and hotel operations while improving top and bottom line revenues. Key roles he has held include general manager at Courtyard Santa Barbara Downtown, general manager at The Waterman in downtown Santa Barbara and general manager at Residence Inn by Marriott Sunnyvale Silicon Valley II.
As The Steward’s general manager, Morales is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the hotel’s operations team and upholding the highest standards of guest service at the newly opened property.
