(CHICAGO; October 12, 2016) — Hewing Hotel, set to open late Fall 2016, announces the appointment of Jenai Sele as Director of Sales for the Minneapolis boutique and lifestyle hotel. In this position, Sele leads the sales efforts for the hotel located in the historic North Loop Jackson building.

A 12-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Sele oversees all sales efforts to drive revenue for the hotel, bringing a new wave of hospitality to Minneapolis’s North Loop neighborhood. Working with the larger Hewing Hotel team, Jenai strives to achieve revenue goals for the hotel and grow sales for groups and leisure visitors.
Since beginning her career, Jenai has showcased a strong history of financial performance and developing and managing high performing teams. Sele began her career in hospitality at her first college job at the Holiday Inn Express in Grand Forks, North Dakota where she found her love for hospitality. In 2007, she moved out west to serve as the Sales Coordinator for the Personality Hotels in San Francisco, assisting with the sales efforts for seven hotel properties. In 2009, she made her way to Minneapolis where she grew within the sales team at Aloft Minneapolis to serve as the Senior Sales Manager where she and her team constantly exceeded monthly revenue goals. Most recently, Jenai served as the Director of Group Sales at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel where she and her team contracted group business ranging from 10 – 300 people at the highly demanded property.
