Hotel-Online and BuildCentral Add/Update 139 Hotel Projects to the New Hotel Construction Projects Database
Chicago, IL. July 1, 2013 – Hotel-Online and BuildCentral have added or updated 139 hotel projects in the last two weeks to Hotel Construction, a nationwide database of hotel construction projects, openings, and key decision makers (Owner/Developers, Architects and Contractors).
These proposed hotels are still in the planning stages. Now is the perfect time to have your product drawn into plans, or offer construction services:
- Greenwich Street Hotel (New York, NY)
- Convention Center Hotel (Jackson, MS)
- Element by Westin Hotel (Philadelphia, PA)
- University Corners (Gainesville, FL)
These new hotels will open within the next few months. If you offer a service for the hospitality industry, key contacts at these properties will want to hear your sales pitch now:
- Salamander Resort & Spa (Middleburg, VA)
- Suburban Collection Showplace Hotel (Novi, MI)
- Silver Lake Crossings Phase II – TownePlace Suites (Grapevine, TX)
- Hampton Inn Kimball (South Pittsburg, TN)
Each report provides a detailed profile of the project, including construction schedule, date of the hotel’s opening and operation, location, value, name of chain and franchise, number of rooms, latest developments, and key contacts. Service providers and products suppliers use this information to gain access to decision makers at the precise time they are most likely making their purchasing decisions.
New project reports and lists of projects with upcoming construction start dates and opening dates are added to the database daily. Subscriptions start at only $399 per year. For more information or a free trial, visit http://hotels.buildcentral.com.

Project News & Notes
June 20, 2013
On 6/20/13, a representative from Daniels Development Company confirmed that French architect, Philippe Stark, will be the interior designer for the SLS hotel and restaurants in the tower, and GLY Construction Inc. will be the general contractor. The project is slightly behind the original schedule to begin in the fall of this year, 2013, and they are unable to estimate when construction will actually begin at this time. A representative from the city of Seattle (WA) stated that a request for an extension to the permit review process to 9/8/14 was approved in March 2013, by the planning department.
February 14, 2013
Daniels Development Company is still working on getting financing for the tower. SBE will operate the hotel.
February 1, 2013
As of 2/1/13, the developers have filed a permit application to change the plans for the project and add a hotel. A permit was issued for the project in 2008, but development stalled due to the economy.
