ANGUILLA, British West Indies (August 20, 2024) – Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club, a leading luxury Caribbean resort, is proud to announce the appointment of Sally Glen as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. Glen brings a wealth of experience across luxury hospitality and international sales, spanning nearly two decades. She will lead the resort into a new era, energize its marketing, modernize its interactions with visitors and residents, and grow Aurora’s positioning within the Caribbean tourism economy.

Boasting a proven track record in international corporate, leisure and MICE markets, Glen’s extensive knowledge of the current hospitality landscape positions her to create opportunities for Aurora Anguilla to uniquely differentiate itself from other resorts on the island and in the region.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sally to our team and are looking forward to hitting the ground running under her leadership” said Edmund Richardson, Director of Hospitality at Aurora Anguilla. “We’re confident that the experience and vision she brings will open many new doors to Aurora’s growth, innovation and success.”

In a position where developing strong trusting relationships with both internal and external teams is imperative, Glen exemplifies excellent leadership qualities and an ability to successfully build and lead high-performing teams, while maintaining the respect of her colleagues and industry peers.

In her most recent role, Glen spearheaded the opening of a new luxury resort in the Caribbean and ascertained its position within key luxury markets across the USA and Europe. Thanks to her drive and steadfast commitment to excellence, she consistently exceeds expectations by surpassing targets and delivering impressive conversion records.

A highlight of her career also includes a four-year sales and marketing post with Gleneagles in Scotland, a 5-star property awarded ‘Best Hotel ‘ by the luxury travel industry’s top professionals at Virtuoso 2022, which cemented the resort’s position as one of the leading properties and hospitality brands in the world. Given Aurora’s positioning within the same luxury markets as Gleneagles, and its vast leisure and MICE offerings, Glen is looking forward to building a cohesive synergy stemming from her past experiences to complement the growth and success of Aurora Anguilla.

Born in Scotland, and a graduate of Glasgow Caledonian University with a BA in Hospitality Management, Glen previously held executive roles with Marriott, Hilton and Golden Rock across Australia, Scotland and the Caribbean. She’s an avid world traveler who loves sailing and scuba diving.

As one of the finest luxury resorts in the Caribbean, Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club continues to receive awards and accolades from hospitality industry’s most prominent authorities. The property was recently ranked No. 23 on Travel + Leisure’s 2024 World’s Best Awards and was recognized as Anguilla’s top beachfront resort by Forbes.
