Bethesda, Md., USA – January 14, 2015 – Autograph Collection Hotels, Marriott International’s distinctive portfolio of independent hotels, is proud to welcome four one-of-a-kind properties to its portfolio, in the U.S., Canada, Costa Rica and South Korea. Autograph Collection Hotels’ global portfolio consists of 96 hotels worldwide, bringing the brand even closer to welcoming its 100th property.
Launched in 2010, Autograph Collection Hotels is a pioneer in the independent hotel space and has grown both aggressively and selectively from less than five hotels to over 90 in just five years – making it not only Marriott International’s fastest growing brand, but one of the fastest growing hotel brands in the industry.

Annapolis Waterfront Hotel (Annapolis, Maryland) Annapolis, Maryland’s premier waterfront hotel is located in the city’s historic downtown and is known for its magnificent views of Annapolis harbor. The 150-room hotel is located just steps from historical sites, shopping, dining and popular harbor cruises that depart from City Dock and the United States Naval Academy. The newly renovated property features enhanced guest rooms with luxury linens and bathrobes, C.O. Bigelow Apothecary bath amenities and a soothing color palette inspired by the Chesapeake Bay. The 8,600 square-foot outdoor patio, one of the area’s most popular event and wedding venues, was redesigned to optimize showcase its breathtaking views while outdoor fire pits and clusters of casual seating were added for guests’ year-round enjoyment.
The Hotel Saskatchewan (Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada) Located in the heart of downtown Regina, Saskatchewan, the iconic property was originally built in 1927 as part of the Canadian Pacific Railway’s collection of hotels. Over the years, the hotel has hosted many VIPs including the Queen of England, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, The Rolling Stones and Justin Bieber. Recently the hotel transformed its public spaces, lounge and half of its 227 guest rooms (renovations of remaining guest rooms will continue through March 2016). The property’s 15,000 square-foot meeting and event space will also undergo a design transformation in summer 2016. The hotel’s newly renovated Circa 27 Lounge overlooks Victoria Park and is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.
The Camby Hotel (Phoenix, Arizona) Phoenix’s newest independent luxury property seamlessly blends imagination, sophistication, and statement-making design to create a unique experience for leisure and business travelers. The hotel was inspired by Arizona’s Five C’s – cotton, cattle, citrus, climate and copper – and its design, led by Stonehill & Taylor, was influenced by the state’s colors and vivid landscape with copper and pops of turquoise throughout the property. The 277-room hotel is located in the heart of the city’s humming business and entertainment district. The Camby features a restaurant and two bars, a boutique spa, contemporary fitness center and over 20,000 square feet of meeting space along with convenient access to the city’s finest dining, shopping, and cultural attractions.
THE PLAZA Seoul (Seoul, South Korea) THE PLAZA Seoul is Korea’s premier luxury boutique business hotel, combining contemporary style with ultimate convenience in the heart of downtown Seoul. World-renowned Italian interior designer, Cuido Ciompi utilized a series of indigenous patterns, colors and natural elements to create an ultra modern hotel celebrating Seoul’s rich history and traditions. The Plaza boasts a beautiful array of artwork, including traditional Korean craftwork and premium design items by famed Korean artists. Hotel restaurants include TAOYUEN, a Chinese restaurant featuring modern Shanghai-style cooking; MURASAKI, a Japanese restaurant that combines modern techniques with simple and casual Neoclassic Kaiseki; and TUSCANY, an Italian restaurant helmed by Michelin-star head chef Maurizio Ceccato.
