The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, November 2014… Benchmark Hospitality International , a leading US-based hospitality management company, has been named by the Houston Chronicle as a “Top Workplace” for 2014. This is the fourth year Benchmark Hospitality has been so honored. The Houston Chronicle, one of the nation’s largest and most important newspapers, has hosted the Top Workplace survey for the past five years in partnership with Work Place Dynamics, a firm which measures employee workplace satisfaction in markets nationally. Nearly 80,000 Houston-area employees participated in the Top Workplace survey, covering 283 companies. Leading the list of important survey factors was a feeling of connectedness, leadership and direction within an employee’s company. Benchmark Hospitality International’s position on the Top Work Place list was #58.
“This is an honor for our company as each year we strive to be a top employer,” said Alex Cabañas, president and CEO of Benchmark Hospitality International. “While we strongly believe in our Be The Difference culture and employee support initiatives, it is both validating and an honor to have our employees recognize this in the Top Workplace survey. I’m very proud of our team here at Benchmark Hospitality International – in the Houston area and globally.”
According to the Houston Chronicle and Workplace Dynamics, Top Workplace recipients are not only better places to work but are more likely to be successful than peer organizations. Companies were recognized as Top Workplaces based solely on surveys about the workplace completed by their employees.
