Texas City, Texas (March 14, 2024) – Best Western® Hotels & Resorts announces the re-opening of the Best Western Texas City I-45, located at 10620 Emmett F Lowry Expressway in Texas City, TX. The hotel is owned by Aman Patel and features 52 guestrooms, including 13 suites.
The former SureStay® Hotels property reopened as a Best Western hotel after completing a major refresh, including guestrooms designed with modern and stylish interiors, as well as the design-forward lobby welcoming guests with functional and comfortable seating. Guest rooms come equipped with new 55-inch LG Smart TVs offering Hulu and Netflix, mini fridges, microwaves and complimentary Wi-Fi. When staying at the Best Western Texas City I-45, guests will have access to a 24-hour fitness center with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, as well as complimentary hot breakfast served in the renovated dining area, an outdoor pool, and laundry services. The hotel’s refreshed meeting and event spaces provide new audio-visual equipment and flexible seating arrangements, and the updated business center offers complimentary computer usage, printing, faxing and scanning.
The Best Western Texas City I-45 has also taken the lead on sustainability, both at the hotel and within the city, by installing electric vehicle charging stations throughout Texas City to support the use of electric vehicles and reduce emissions from traditional vehicles. At the hotel, eco-friendly practices are paramount, as evidenced by the use of energy-efficient LED lights and the many recycling bins throughout the hotel.
