Leading hotel and restaurant owners, developers, and vendors to partake in symposium
UCLA Extension to teach a first-of-its-kind education day at the conference on the subject of “Turning an asset into a luxury boutique hotel”
Los Angeles, 29 September, 2016 – Boutique hotel pioneers, industry visionaries, and trade media will gather on October 24 – 26 at the UCLA Luskin Conference Center for the Boutique & Lifestyle Lodging Association’s (BLLA) three-day Leadership Symposium. BLLA is the official organization to the world’s premiere boutique hotels aimed at connecting independent upscale hoteliers with fellow industry innovators, and creating a forum for thought leadership as the home for the boutique and lifestyle world. Tickets are still available for the symposium, which will address investment, development, and strategies for success in direct booking sales, marketing, operations, and food and beverage.
Hospitality luminaries from Viceroy Hotel Group, Denihan Hospitality, Dream Hotel Group, and Montage Hotels & Resorts will share the latest discoveries in the boutique lifestyle space. Available at this year’s symposium exclusively for attendees is Boutique Lifestyle Magazine, which contains articles from experts around the world, focusing on the upscale niche.
“We are connecting the best in the industry to discuss topics of interest to tomorrow’s boutique and lifestyle hotelier, and to educate the hospitality industry in a way that hasn’t been done previously,” said BLLA Founder and CEO Frances Kiradjian. “BLLA’s conferences are curated and designed with the sole mission to support this niche. We are offering hospitality enthusiasts a chance to develop their knowledge of the boutique lifestyle space.”
The third day of the leadership symposium will deliver an optional new hospitality program specifically designed to educate the boutique hospitality space. This pivotal, newly formed alliance with UCLA Extension is a testimonial to BLLA’s commitment and academic understanding of the most relevant topics in the field of boutique and lifestyle education. A full day of comprehensive industry workshops that span across all fields of boutique hospitality will include presentations on Finance, Concept & Design, Food & Beverage, and Branding & Repositioning.
Attendees will have a chance to participate in networking sessions aimed to form and shape quality relationships within the luxury lifestyle and boutique sector. Other events on the symposium itinerary include two off-site events in Beverly Hills, including a Gala Awards Dinner at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel, and a film viewing at the newly designed United Talent Agency.
