Aug. 24–WEST PALM BEACH — The long-anticipated hotel project adjacent to the Palm Beach County Convention Center will rise 13 stories and 143 feet, boast two ballrooms and more than 400 hotel rooms and have a 2-story parking garage, according to plans submitted this week to the city of West Palm Beach.

In January, the county signed contracts with the Related Cos., which it selected in 2010 to build the Palm Beach Convention Center Hilton. The process then moved to the city, and plans were turned in Tuesday, Related Vice President David Harrison said.
