Dec. 16–Granada Hotel & Bistro in San Luis Obispo recently hired Robert L. Williams as general manager.
Williams is an awardwinning, certified sommelier and member of the hospitality industry with more than 10 years of wine and culinary experience, according to a hotel news release.
After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y., Williams went to work at a number of finedining restaurants in New York City, including the Michelin-starred restaurant Per Se. Williams moved from New York City to California, where he became the food and beverage director at the Padre Hotel in Bakersfield and was responsible for managing the hotel’s three restaurants and nightclub.
