DALLAS, TX – March 7, 2022 – Hilton Anatole announced Bruce Roy as the new general manager of the iconic property managed by Hilton (NYSE: HLT). Roy joins Hilton Anatole from Hilton Boston Logan Airport, where he served as the hotel’s general manager and oversaw a multi-million dollar guestroom renovation. In his new role, Roy will oversee all aspects of the iconic 1,606 room property located just north of downtown Dallas, which includes over 600,000 square feet of meeting space, upscale steakhouse SER Steak + Spirits, and spacious indoor and outdoor facilities including V Spa, Verandah Health Club, a private Sculpture Park, and the JadeWaters resort pool complex.
A hospitality veteran with more than 30 years of experience, Roy has held a variety of leadership roles throughout his career including general manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh – Green Tree, Westin Minneapolis, and Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. He has also held the role of banquet manager, director of restaurants, food and beverage director, and director of operations at various properties across the US. He started his hospitality career in sales at the Sheraton Bradley International Airport, near his hometown in Connecticut.
Roy is a graduate of Johnson State College in Vermont, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in hospitality management. While at Hilton Boston Logan Airport, he was an active part of the community, volunteering for East Boston YMCA Board of Directors, Marblehead Youth Hockey Board of Directors, Registrar, and Head Coach. He was also involved with the Boston Tourism Destination Marketing District.
