Aliso Viejo, CA – June 7, 2023 – Half Moon Bay Lodge, an 80-room hotel situated along the Northern California coast, has completed a refresh this spring, with updates to the hotel’s guest rooms, outdoor public spaces and 5,000 square feet of meeting and events venues. The new coastal look is present in each unique guest room, some equipped with wood burning fireplaces. Updates to the indoor and outdoor function space make this hotel the perfect location for a small meeting, event or wedding just a short drive away from San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Half Moon Bay Lodge, purchased by the Melville Family in 2020, is managed by Pacifica Hotels, the largest owner and operator of independent, design-inspired hotels on the Pacific Coast.
Half Moon Bay Lodge has long been a seaside retreat located just 28 miles south of San Francisco. The property has completed a variety of updates, including refurbishing the 80 spacious guest rooms with new bedding, furniture, and TVs. These cozy accommodations now incorporate more natural textures and colors including ocean-inspired blues and earthy browns, while still embracing its lodge-like feel. Curate Art Group, a San Francisco-based boutique and luxury hospitality art consultancy, curated the photography collection which provides a sense of space throughout the property. Images are inspired by coastal destinations and Half Moon Bay. The hotel’s meeting and events spaces have been elevated with new seating and tables, updated lighting, and curated art installations. And the outdoor space, called The Backyard, is surrounded by breathtaking scenery and will now have outdoor fire pits, additional seating for guests, and more wedding and event spaces than ever.
