Nashville, TN—Jan 2018—Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), one of the world's largest hotel companies, Fillmore Capital Partners and Fillmore Hospitality are proud to announce the opening of the Cambria hotel & suites in Nashville. Located in the heart of SoBro–at 8th Avenue and McGavock–Cambria opens with 255 custom-designed rooms, a sleek rooftop pool, barista bar, and a stunning 2,800 square foot music venue called True Listening Room & Bar. A 9,400 square-foot restaurant, called NashHouse, Southern Spoon and Saloon, will open in April 2018.
While the Cambria brand has 32 hotels across the country, the Nashville hotel’s design beautifully reflects and celebrates its Music City location. Guestrooms and public spaces were created that convey an upscale, fashion-forward feel without any pretense. Using elements such as rustic, locally sourced, reclaimed wood next to polished concrete, and textiles alongside industrial light fixtures, the Cambria delivers a modern, yet relaxed, environment that’s full of wonderful contrasts. Cleverly incorporated music- and Nashville-centric references went into the hotel’s furniture, artwork, and fixtures.
The Cambria is also utilizing technology in creative ways–not only to enhance the in-room guest experience, but to deliver a higher level of guest services through real-time engagement. Sleek frameless mirrors in guest bathrooms serve double duty when they’re outfitted with Bluetooth capabilities and allow guests to instantly enjoy their own music. The Cambria’s virtual concierge communicates with guests via text messages (no app required), and assists them with everything from restaurant reservations and transportation to late checkout and WiFi aceess. And when it comes to WiFi speed, a detail that can potentially impact a hotel stay in a major way, the Cambria’s Internet speed clocks in at 500 megabits per second.
Just steps from the Music City Center, Bridgestone Arena and Historic Broadway, the Cambria promises to be a sought after destination for business travelers. The hotel boasts over 5,000 square feet of meeting space with AV capabilities for group meetings, banquets and conferences.
"We’re excited to introduce the Cambria brand to the Nashville market,” says Bobby Smith, Director of Sales & Marketing at the Cambria hotel & suites in Nashville. “We believe that Cambria’s boutique hotel sensibility, luxury amenities, and accessible rates will greatly appeal to the many travelers flooding the city. With Nashville being our flagship location, Music City tourists can expect a truly distinct hotel experience.”
