Hedley previously served as General Manager, joining shortly after the resort’s initial opening, playing an integral role in leading and developing the team from 2004 – 2009 and is thrilled to now be back on property as Managing Director, as the resort celebrates its twentieth anniversary later this year and ushers in a new era of luxury with exciting developments to come.
Hedley has been a resident on the island of Antigua for 19 years, with dual British and Antiguan nationality, he brings an inherent knowledge of Caribbean culture, its people and practices. Possessing a wealth of experience in luxury resorts throughout the Caribbean, most recently, Hedley served as Executive Director and General Manager of Hodges Bay Resort, overseeing the restructure and repositioning of the property, along with its offshore island beach club. Additional roles include, Managing Director of Mill Reef Properties, CEO of Canouan Group in St. Vincent & The Grenadines, where the development of the 1200-acre Canouan Island fell under his remit, Managing Director of private-island resort, Jumby Bay, and Regional Vice President Caribbean, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. Earlier positions include Managing Director of Point Grace, General Manager of Peter Island Resort, and Resident Manager, Cap Juluca, among other impressive roles throughout the Caribbean, Africa and London.
