MINNEAPOLIS (June 8, 2015) – Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the world’s largest and most dynamic hotel groups, today announced that Alissa Montbriand has been appointed as vice president, Global Integrated Marketing Communications reporting to Roger Chacko, executive vice president and chief branding and marketing officer.

Montbriand will be responsible for the brand digital channels and Club CarlsonSM, the group’s loyalty program. She will lead the creation and execution of strategic digital marketing programs that build consumer awareness and engagement, deliver an exceptional experience and drive loyalty for the Carlson Rezidor brands globally.
Montbriand joins Carlson Rezidor from Bloomin’ Brands, Inc., where she oversaw and integrated digital strategy across websites, apps, email, social, and in-restaurant technologies. Prior to that, she served as director, Global Social Media and Content Marketing at Staples, Inc., developing the roadmap for social media, content creation and governance across the company’s global digital properties, realizing a 300 percent increase in traffic to Staples.com editorial content. She has also held positions at PetSmart, Inc., and Best Buy Mobile. Montbriand holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
