Nashville, TN – March 22, 2016 – Vimana Franchise System’s Centerstone Inns, Hotels & Plaza Hotels and Braeside Design recently won several People's Choice design awards when they teamed up for the unveiling of Centerstone’s new ALL-AMERICAN manufactured guest room prototype at the HI Connect event held in Nashville, TN March 17-19th.
The room designed Cary Benjamin of Braeside Design debuted a design intended for the mid to upper mid tier that is practical and affordable, yet timeless. “What we wanted to do was show that we can provide an amazing room where all the items have been manufactured in the United States. It is tiring to receive items from overseas that don’t meet specifications, especially when there are so many wonderful US manufacturers. Sometimes at these shows, you find that designers go a bit over the top and truth is that a room like that would not work for Centerstone and many other similar brands. Instead, we were able to provide an All-American manufactured room at a great affordable cost that was beautiful and timeless in design. We were thrilled to receive such incredibly positive feedback at the event,” explained Benjamin.

Centerstone’s prototype received three awards at the event, beating out several other brands, despite being the most affordable including “Sweetest Surface” (manufactured by Lexmark), “Most Inspirational Art” (manufactured by The Spacia Group) and the “I Need That in My Hotel” award. “The response to our room was overwhelmingly positive. Our designer and vendors did an amazing job,” said Steven Belmonte, CEO of Centerstone Hotels.
“All could not have been accomplished without the great teamwork and collaboration of our partners at Klem Furniture, Echota Drape and Bedspread, Integrity Furniture, Wilsonart Laminate, US Vinyl, Ashley Lighting, Northwest Mattress, Spacia Group and Lexmark Carpet,” added Benjamin.
The All-American manufactured prototype can be purchased for approximately $5,500 (excluding freight/shipping costs.
