SAN ANTONIO, October 5, 2016 – Presidian Hotels & Resorts (“Presidian”), a premier hotel investment and management company based in San Antonio, Texas, today announced that Chip Young has rejoined the company as Chief Operating Officer. As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Young will be responsible for the operations of all hotels in the growing Presidian portfolio as well as directing the strategic positioning of the company for ongoing growth through strong organizational alignment and operational execution.
Mr. Young is a respected hospitality industry veteran with a career spanning over 35 years, including time previously spent with Presidian serving as the company’s Vice President of Operations. Chip began his career with the Marriott Corporation where he spent a total of 17 years in various roles. He also served as a Regional Vice President of Operations for White Lodging and held similar roles with La Quinta Inns and Suites and Prime Hospitality. Immediately prior to rejoining Presidian, Mr. Young served as the Chief Operating Officer for BC Lynd Hospitality in San Antonio.
Mr. Young’s breadth of experience includes sustained success in all segments of the business. This includes full-service, extended stay, select service, and independent hotel management and extensive involvement with quality brands such as Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, and Starwood. Mr. Young has an unwavering commitment to guest service and satisfaction through a passion for training, quality and continuous improvement and his track record shows a keen ability to attract, develop and retain top talent at all levels.
