San Diego, California – November 25, 2015 – The California Hotel & Lodging Association announced their 2015 Stars of the Industry award winners on Thursday at the US Grant hotel in San Diego. The annual Stars of the Industry awards, presented by USA TODAY, are given out to honor lodging employees and properties that best symbolize the quality service of the industry. The 2015 awards were given out for five property and six individual categories, as well as one industry supplier category.
Outstanding Lodging Employee of the Year: Rebecca Hill, Staff Member – Inn at Playa Del Rey, Playa Del Rey

General Manager of the Year: Tom Patton – Ramada Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara

The HD Supply Housekeeping Award went to: Vanessa Myers – The Claremont Hotel Club & Spa, Berkeley
Yolanda Trujillo – Hilton San Diego Bayfront, San Diego
The Stevan Porter Emerging Hospitality Leader of Year award winners were: Parris Preston – Homewood Suites San Diego-Del Mar, San Diego

Jennifer Yang – Terranea Resort, Rancho Palos Verdes
