The latest OPERA Cloud enabled solution from Clairvoyix allows properties who book rooms and events without meeting space the ability to offer comprehensive email confirmations without the need for a sales and catering system.
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 29, 2023) – Continuing their strategic objective of leveraging the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP), Clairvoyix has addressed a significant problem for OPERA Cloud properties that do not have traditional meeting space, yet they book room “blocks” and associated events, dining, entertainment, and other activities. Presenting this aggregated block information on a reservation email, including discounts and other terms and conditions, was simply not possible until now. Additionally, the front desk, reservations, and the concierge would have difficulties viewing the group’s block information on a single screen. The Clairvoyix solution addresses these problems with an OHIP enabled Oracle Cloud deployed tool that is both effective and affordable for properties of all types and sizes.
Potters Resorts, the UK’s only All-Inclusive Holiday resorts, is known for their “Short Breaks”, or vacation packages that include accommodation, food and drink, entertainment, sports, and leisure activities. These packages are very popular with group bookings, and they represent a significant portion of Potters Resorts’ revenues. Potters Resorts had previously used a third-party solution for sending room “block” email confirmations, but the vendor was unable to develop the solution for OPERA Cloud.
“At Potters Resorts we knew it was time to upgrade our PMS and we wanted OPERA Cloud. However our valued groups and our team at Potters Resorts was dependent on a professional looking and comprehensive reservation confirmation email, so this was a requirement”, said Sophie Bartley, Potters Resorts Sales and Marketing Systems Manager. “We had a similar tool for our previous PMS platform, but we needed a new tool that was fully compliant with OHIP. Clairvoyix delivered as promised and we have now been in production with the Clairvoyix solution for over two months.”
