DENVER – June 30, 2023 – Thomas Lloyd has been appointed general manager of Clayton Hotel & Members Club in Denver, Colo. Operated by Aparium, the 63-room boutique hotel and private membership club provides stylish, well-appointed guest rooms, approximately 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space, fitness amenities, a rooftop pool and a selection of social spaces and restaurants only available to members and guests.
With more 15 years of experience in hospitality, Lloyd brings a wealth of talent and expertise to the position. Originally hailing from Richmond, Va., Lloyd relocated to Colorado to earn a degree in Business Management from Colorado State University-Pueblo. Lloyd’s impressive professional background has been focused on maximizing performance, strengthening customer relations, and increasing business profitability. Throughout his career, he’s held roles as restaurant manager and director of outlets at The Ritz-Carlton Denver; director of beverage and food, assistant general manager and director of operations at Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center; general manager of Boulder Marriott; and most recently, integrator, chief operating officer and managing partner of Denver-based Top Tier Capital Group. He’s served on the board of the Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association; Boulder Hotel & Motel Association; Visit Boulder, the Convention and Visitors Bureau; and the Colorado Restaurant Association.
