AUSTIN, TEXAS (February 13, 2020) – Commodore Perry Estate, Auberge Resorts Collection,the architectural jewel and historic landmark soon to be reintroduced as an intimate retreat in the heart of Austin, has appointed Brett Briseno Director of Sales and Marketing. Briseno brings sales leadership experience and extensive knowledge of the Austin market to his new role at Auberge Resort Collection’s first urban escape.

Briseno joins Commodore Perry Estate following 15 years at leading hotels in Texas. Most recently, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing at W Austin Hotel & Residences. Previously, he held sales and marketing leadership positions at prominent hotels and resorts, including W Dallas – Victory Hotel & Residences and W Minneapolis – The Foshay & Le Meridien Chambers.
A sixth-generation Texas native, Briseno was born and raised in San Antonio and graduated from Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Sports Management. He spends the majority of his time exploring the outdoors with his fellow Aggie fiancé, which makes Austin an ideal backyard for him. Briseno currently resides in East Austin about one mile from Commodore Perry Estate.

Opening in April 2020, Commodore Perry Estate, Auberge Resorts Collection is a historic architectural landmark reimagined for today. Amenities include Lutie’s – the signature garden restaurant, a dramatic oval swimming pool, an 1,800-square-foot fitness center, 3,000-square-feet of outdoor event space, expansive formal gardens and an organic urban farm. Located in the central neighborhood of Hancock Park, the intimate retreat on 10 private acres was built in the Jazz Age in 1928 and will feature signature imaginative décor from award-winning designer and creative director Ken Fulk.
