Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok, the inviting upscale hotel which is conveniently, yet peacefully, located in the heart of the city’s central business and shopping district, has revealed the results of an extensive renovation project with a new natural design vernacular for its contemporary rooms and suites, an upgrade for its public areas, and a new sky-high space for meetings, events and social gatherings, to create inspiring and energizing experiences for every guest.
All 314 rooms and two suites at Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok have been refreshed under the “Touch of Nature” theme, which will help travelers to move forward and feel more relaxed during their stay. With bright, earthy tones and natural design elements such as trees, leaves, and stones, the newly refurbished rooms will exude a sense of deep tranquility. Guests will be able to get a great night’s sleep with comfortable king or twin beds, feel fully refreshed with invigorating rain showers and tea & coffee making facilities, and stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi, large LED TVs, international power outlets, and USB ports.
The hotel’s public areas have also been uplifted with a new interior concept that embraces the theme of “Lai Dao” or “guiding stars”. These auspicious emblems are now prominently featured throughout the lobby and shared spaces, creating a profound connection between the hotel and local culture. These stars also adorn the uniforms of the hotel’s passionate associates, representing the guiding lights who deliver the best possible service and lead our Trailblazers to greater success.
Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok has also unveiled Erawan Sky, an all-new multi-purpose venue that will empower the hotel to stage exceptional meetings or small exclusive events. This innovative, versatile, daylight-filled space commands 180-degree panoramic views. Ideal for an array of events with up to 50 people, from intimate private dinners, and engagement ceremonies to small-scale business meetings, corporate receptions, and even hybrid conferences, Erawan Sky is equipped with a private bar, lounge area, a huge 98-inch LED TV, and a cutting-edge sound system. A total of five Erawanmeeting rooms (including Erawan Sky and four other spaces located on the M Floor) have also been fully refurbished including state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems.
Harnessing the power of the earth, stars, and sky is also reflective of the hotel’s sustainability ethos. Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok is fully committed to reducing waste and operating in an eco-friendly manner, and this policy has now been recognized by two leading organizations. The PLEDGE™ on Food Waste has awarded the hotel its All-Star Level – its highest level of achievement – for the second consecutive year, and Thailand’s Department of Environmental Quality Promotion has certified the property as a Gold Level “Green Hotel” for 2023.
Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok continues to enhanceits guest journeys in the future, including the transition of the menu at MoMo Café, the signature restaurant, to a more casual and inviting café-style dining experience.
“We are delighted to reveal the results of our successful transformation. This important project has not only raised the standard of our facilities and experiences; it has done so in a way that is natural, sustainable, and inspiring. Our modern design evolution puts people first and aims to enhance the well-being of our guests and associates alike,” said Mr. Joshua Lee, the hotel’s General Manager.
