Cycas Hospitality has opened its fourth London property; the 54-room The Lincoln Suites in the heart of Holborn.

Opened on 31 August and owned by Eastern & Oriental (E&O) Group, the pet-friendly boutique aparthotel offers 28 spacious one-bedroom suites and 26 luxury studios just five minutes’ walk from Holborn, Covent Garden and Temple underground stations.

Its contemporary style was created to offer business and leisure travellers their own homely hideaway in the city centre, while complementing the characterful setting within a converted 1920s neo-classical building. Each fully-equipped suite therefore incorporates a range of high-end features, from underfloor heating and flat screen smart TV to Nespresso machines and luxury toiletries. Guests also have the benefit of 24-hour reception, high-speed WiFi and regular housekeeping.

With the room categories named after local streets in this historic London quarter, many of the rooms overlook the city’s famous Kingsway and The Lincoln Suites is a short stroll from many of London’s most iconic museums, theatres and attractions.

Cycas Hospitality also took over the management of the 20-apartment Stow-Away Waterloo in early summer, with the two properties sharing key team members across operations and housekeeping. In June 2021 Cycas went on to open the first Hyatt Place in central London; the upscale 280-room Hyatt Place London City East, in Whitechapel.

Wayne Androliakos, Vice President of Operations – South UK & Strategic Projects, at Cycas Hospitality, said:

We’re delighted to have opened E&O Group’s first serviced apartment hotel in Europe, and to have brought their upmarket vision for The Lincoln Suites to life in such a prime London location.

The last year has really helped open people’s eyes to the benefits of alternative accommodation options and, in particular, the greater flexibility and extra space offered by serviced apartments. Cycas is therefore confident that the demand is there for a more boutique long-stay experience, as much from those looking to spend a few weeks holidaying in the capital as those travelling on business.”

The opening comes on the back of a strong year of expansion across Europe for Cycas, with the hotel management company having defied industry challenges to open one hotel per month since autumn 2020, including its first hotels in France (the dual brand Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, October 2020) and Belgium (Residence Inn by Marriott Brussels Airport, April 2021).
