DENVER, CO and MCLEAN, VA – January 19, 2017 – The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center, a luxury hotel and resort located in the southern Denver suburb of Englewood, announced the property will become part of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand in March 2017. The conversion to the Hilton brand will not affect guest reservations, and is the next phase in the property's multimillion dollar three-year capital expenditure and property improvement plan.
“The conversion of The Inverness Hotel & Conference Center to a Hilton Hotels & Resorts property will bring a newly designed hotel to the Denver area, while also offering all the benefits and high-quality service expected from a Hilton hotel,” said Susan Bachman, senior director, northwest development, Hilton.
Silverwest Hotels purchased the Inverness Hotel and Conference Center in November 2015 from Lowe Enterprises Investment Management. Room renovations began in November 2016, and will be completed floor-by-floor so as not to affect guest accommodations. Two model rooms have already been completed, with renovations scheduled to be finished in March 2017. Two Roads Hospitality’s outstanding operations management will continue unchanged during the implementation of this plan, and all reservations for guest, group meetings, weddings and catering clients will remain intact.
“We're very excited to announce the conversion of The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center into a Hilton Hotels & Resorts hotel,” said Charles Peck, CEO, Silverwest Hotels. “We’re looking forward to sharing the beautiful room renovations and upgrades and all of the wonderful amenities of the Hilton brand with our guests.”
The new guest rooms incorporate natural dark wood furnishings and trim contrasted with off-white walls, drapery and lampshades. Guests will be able to enjoy several conveniences including outlets and USB ports on the bases of the lamps as well as renovated bathrooms with walk-in showers in approximately 50% of the rooms featuring natural dark tan marble tiles, glass doors and modern silver fixtures. In addition, headboard walls have been redesigned to showcase carved wood mountain scenery and paneling. The new room design comes on the heels of the 2015 $1.3 million renovation to the hotel’s lobby, entrance, food and beverage outlets and event corridors.
The Inverness Hotel is located at 200 Inverness Drive West in Englewood, Colorado. For more information or to make a reservation, please call 1-800-832-9053.
